So this book turned me into this:

I cannot stop reading every page. All I want was to know what will happen next and next. I was that addicted. For that, I really admire your work Wendy Higgins! Wooooot!

I was RIVETED with this book because I kept on guessing what will happen every after scene. Some of them you'll know immediately but then there were times that completely caught me off guard. All I want was for that disgusting beast to die! Gosh I hate that beast.

The characters. I LOVED THE CHARACTERS! Every one of them. But I had a particular liking to one skirt raiser. Oh boy, that one. Paxton Seabolt was sooooo broody I want to just slap him. Haha! So to at least give them a description:
Paxton Seabolt was compassionate and selfless. Aerity Lochson was selfless as well but I think only because of the great responsibilities that she carries. She deserves a great reward for the sacrifices that she has done. The brother was charming. The sister was very bold. The cousin was just sad, I really pity her. The lord was ok I guess, but he didn't capture my attention that much. The lieutenant, I couldn't quite figure him out.

CAPTIVATING ROMANCE. Loved everything that happened with all the budding romance in this book. Even the innocent ones. They were all swoon worthy to me. Those sweet moments (tho very minimal) with the skirt raiser and princess kept me very eager to read because I wanted MORE.

HEART-WRENCHING TWIST. I know something like that will happen, I know because this is the first book and it is bound to happen but I still couldn't accept it! :(


WILD RIDE HUNT. Yep that hunt with the beast was just scary haha!

CONCEAL DON'T FEEL. Boy oh boy every one of the characters has to conceal their feelings. I cannoooooot with this. It was heartbreaking! Also that ending. :(


Over-all 4 stars!!!
Cliffhanger tho. BUT I LOVED IT! :)

When i first read the news that Victor Reuben was going to get his book, i was like, HELL YES!

He was the only friend left without a book and I really really wanna know more about Estelle's brother and the best friend to Bean and Jensen. So YES, I was extremely excited when this book came out.

SO THE BOOK:
The book was great actually. It feels real to me because the characters were not perfect. Knowing that they all have these problems, terrible decisions and mistakes makes it worth reading. Because at the end of the day, they have someone there to help them get through life.
The romance was every bit I imagined Victor would do. I knew he had it in him! I knew it! I was kinda shock at first because I don't know what a Victor "in-love" will looked like but then he did not disappoint so lots of hearts for you Victor! I really liked Nicole's character though. Yes she was impulsive but she knows how to acknowledge her every decision.
The drama was there, I felt it and it was beautiful :)
The friendship was sooooo nice. Still the same tight bond and so as the lovely families.

If I have to speak to the characters this would be it:

To Victor:

Yes Victor, I know you weren't ready at that time and you know that, but come on! I wanna smack your head sometimes.

To Nicole:

Go girl! I know you did not make the best decisions with your life but you made good with one. I admire you for the bravery and the courage to overcome all those hardships.

To Bean and Jensen:

Yeah, i just couldn't help myself. haha!

To Estelle and Mia:

Yeah, I know. I want what they have!

Knowing the title of the book I couldn't stop singing Sia's song Elastic Heart. It kept on popping inside my head every time drama was on in the book. So this song has been playing on repeat inside my head since yesterday.

"You did not break me
I'm still fighting for peace
Well, I've got thick skin and an elastic heart,
But your blade—it might be too sharp
I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard,
Yeah, I may snap and I move fast
But you won't see me fall apart
'Cause I've got an elastic heart"
- So now I kinda get it why the book was called Elastic Heart. You guys should read it!

awww another one Emma Chase! You did it again. you had me crushing on Brent Mason. I cannot with this...


Thoughts:
1. I loved the childhood friends thing. Absolutely adorable. Their friendship is one of the sweetest things that anyone would dream of having. It was also the beginning of an epic love story. soooo much loved for the concept. :)


2. The male pov was wonderful! The words and the reactions were so funny I couldn't stop laughing! It was also sexy! Woooot!

3. The drama. It's always the drama. Perfection! It was sad and lonely but then the sweetness and perfection that you will get in the end is very much worth it.

4. Plus points for the Game of Thrones references! woooot! Also the Ed Sheeran song was hands-down romantic!

To Kate's ever loving self, to James' cuteness, to Steven dancing to Blurred Lines, to Alexandra being emotional so much as cry, to Billy Warren singing Mandy, to Matthew giving the best bromance to Drew, to Delores for being Delores and to the guy squad singing Making Love Out of Nothing at All, to the parentals who were very much in love and to Emma Chase for writing the sweetest books that comes from a male POV. This is 5stars, ok. Very much love for this book.

Wow! I really missed Drew Evans and Kate Brooks. Their love for each other, just wow. Can't say I wasn't hooked with Drew's sense of humor but Katy surprised me because she's funny too.

But the other reaction that i really really want to say out loud while reading was this.



Over-all it was funny as hell, kinda painful because of the heartbreak and very sweet what with all the confessions and realizations about love. Really happy also with the addition of the new character! Wooot!

It was really nice to read his POV. Loved every words that came from him. How he described his feelings, how he fell in love and how he cares for his family and friends. He was not all funny but he can be! He wasn't as direct and obnoxious as Drew but it works for me. Matthew you are adorable! Perfect even. :)

So I have to say, I loved this book but Stanton Shaw can be really frustrating. But still charming. Yes, Stanton I still like you even if you'r e a pain in the... you know.


Thoughts:
1. Girl power. Sofia, very feisty lawyer, smart, beautiful but girl, you are one hell of an actress. I feel for you. :(

2. Blind. Yes Stanton you are. hahaha!

3. Romance. Yes that romance. it was really sweet coming from Stanton. I mean I think I understand what he felt in the book. His plan or security belt was breaking so I guess, it was normal to feel like he did. But then again, it doesn't mean it wasn't painful to watch how all things unfold along the way.
ugh.


4. Heartbreaking. :(

5. Overall this is one hell of a story. It felt real and bittersweet.

One thing i know right now is that Jake Becker is on my top Book Boyfriend material list. Gosh! I can't even... Gah!


This book is hilarious, sarcastic, sexy and comes with a mind-blowing sweetness! Loved every words and every pages and every chapters. Ok, so am I overly enthusiastic to say that I just LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH?!

Thoughts:
1. This bachelor right here who's a lawyer, very direct and focused is just so funny and sexy, i am wishing right now that he is real. Yes, that's what I feel right now. Besides where can you see a grown man who sings a One Direction song to kids and to the woman that he likes, goes even to a freakin' concert, goes to a day care center, intimidate a piano teacher, teach a boy how to defend himself and most of all teach someone how to be a man. Ok fine, he also knows how to swoon a woman. Yessss.


2. The family thing. I can't even begin to describe how lovely the relationship between the characters are. Perfection at its finest.

3. Sexy lawyer coming through.
I wasn't kidding about the sexy thing because, boy oh boy he can be intimidating and sexy at the same time. You can just listen to his words and you might explode hahaha. Hotness overload.

4. Lovely aunt! A selfless aunt right there. No wonder you deserve the sexy lawyer. Lucky you, girl!!!!

5. The 6 hyperactive monsters. Lol ok not really monsters, cause they are all adorable. The family interaction, the fighting and the screaming and the teasing, so very real and everything about these makes me wanna live with them. Hahah

AMAZING READ THIS ONE, YOU GUYS SHOULD READ IT!

The drama on being in love with your sister's ex-husband is very scandalous but upon reading it, there's just so much more behind that. There was a deep connection and love for each other. Sure it looks like a betrayal and wrong but sometimes what the heart wants, the heart gets, you just have to fight for it.

All I can say is:


So finally I got to finish reading this series. After 2 years I was able to know the ending! Let me tell you I kinda love/hate the feeling of knowing the ending. The story was great. I love everything about this series. It's like a craving that I cannot satisfy so I have to read and read and read. But going through Eleanor's journey, I can definitely say that I respect every decision that she made. She is not a coward. Actually I believe all of us are cowards, the only difference is how we deal with that feeling of helplessness and weakness. But then what happened to her life, WHY MUST SHE SUFFER? :( Wonderful and LOVELY things did happen to her and she was able to embrace them too. She was able to see and acknowledge them for she must know how to live and push forward. BUT, something DEADLY awaits in the DARKNESS and it was heartbreaking!

Ms Susan Dennard, I love this series but I must ask, WHY? WHYYYY? :(

I just want to congratulate myself for finishing this book before I watch the movie tonight! lol. yaaaay! 5 stars for meeee.

As for the book, can I just say that:


This book is all kinds of twist. You find out about something then you find out that there's an even bigger picture afterwards. You find out you're different and important then you find out it doesn't even matter afterwards. All in all, i love it!

The friendship, lots of like over here! The romance, boy oh boy. Arguing with each other is normal. It happens when you try to voice out your opinions and perspective that are different from others. Understanding why you argue and realizing that forgiveness is not needed reflects how passionate you are and how muc you love that person. It means you know you're partner well. Tris and Tobias did! I superrr loved it!

That ending though.

Mia Sheridan never fails to make me love her books.
All I can say is wow. Just wow! I love everything about this book.


This book kinda reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. But anyway, so I'll try to react by using Carrie Underwood's song Look At Me, since this song kept playing on my mind while I was reading this. Here goes:

"I would bet my life, like I bet my heart
That you were the one, baby
I've never been so sure of anything before
You driving my heart crazy
Ever since the beginning, their attraction for each other was already there. From the way they react to each other, how they interact and how they simple experience being in the same roof together. Grayson felt it, Kira felt it too. It made them question their feelings and think things that they were never sure before. The simple stare and simple touches made their heart go crazy. I mean who wouldn't? I can just imagine how hot Grayson is. LOL. anyway....

"I can't hold out, I can't hold back now
Like I've done before."
Both of them fell in love with another person before and got hurt. They didn't actually felt that they were deeply in love with their partners. At that time, they said they did. But experiencing what they have now, they simply can't hold back anymore because this time it's completely different from before.

"Darling, look at me
I've fallen like a fool for you
Darling, can't you see
I'd do anything you want me to
This is true. They did fall like a fool for each other. I can't say anything right now. lol. Maybe that vineyard was magical.

"I tell myself I'm in too deep
Then I fall a little farther
Every time you look at me"
Even though there were a lot of painful stuff that happened here, (I mean really painful because I, myself shed some tears. Ha!) they were still able to get past them. Sometimes, natural things make you fall a little more to the person that you like. Simple actions and gestures make you feel more because it's not about the effort but the natural way of things. (i don't know if i'm making any sense. lol)

"How do you do that, babe?
Make me feel like I'm the only girl alive for you
I don't know what it is that makes me fall like this
First time in your arms, I knew"
Both of them are stubborn. There is no denying this. They irritate and annoy each other to the point that they even gave each other names of insult like Dragon and Little Witch. I knooooow. It's sweet right? ha! Because of these, they only ignite that passion that they feel for each other. This made them feel alive and experience that wonderful feeling when falling in love with "the one".

"The way you held me, I knew that this could be
What I've been waiting to find."
Ever since they were young, they always felt the need to be loved and be accepted by their parents. They felt like they were not good enough or they don't have value in this world. Which is sad. Imagine growing up feeling like that. Lots of years thinking that you are alone and will stay alone because you are not wanted. Finding that someone who can make you feel the things that you were looking for is one of the most amazing feeling because you will feel all kinds of joy and you will feel like that kid again who wants simple stuff in life. It happened here. Grayson and Kira. goooooosssssh! I'm all kinds of happy right now!

All I can say is that I really enjoyed this book. Drama is ok, the romance is great and the characters are the best!
